Handbag pattern by Jenny Rayond that can be made either with a single fabric or a combination of materials for that patchwork look!  This pattern comes in 2 different sizes.  Finished size is 8" x  15" for the small bag and 12" x 15" for the larger handbag.

Materials Needed:

• Small Bag:  Main Fabric - 1 1/4 yard
• 5/8 yard for bias binding and tubing
• 6 fat quarters (number 1-6) for multi-colored outside fabric
• 1 1/4 yard of lining fabric
• 1 1/4 yard for foundation fabric (cotton)
• 1/2 yard medium weight interfacing
• 4 yards fusible web
• Large Bag -  Main Fabric 1 3/8 yards
• 5/8 yard fabric for bias binding and tubing
• 7 fat quarters (number 1-7) for multi-fabric outside
• 1 3/8 yard lining fabric (medium weight)
• 1 3/8 yard foundation fabric (cotton)
• 1/2 yard medium weight interfacing
• 4 yards fusible web
• Thread (matching)
• Buttons 4 - 5/8" and 1 - 1 1/2"
• Woven braid or bias tubing 2 yards 1/2" to 5/8" wide
• 1 yard Cable Cord
• 2 - 2" 3/bar slide or D/ring
• 1 1/2 yard 2" wide webbing.  This is enough for an adjustable shoulder strap or you can make your own strap from fabric.
