The Artful Argyle Tote requires no piecing and has instructions for an easy snug fit lining. This bag pattern is easy to make and has 2 lined interior pockets. Instructions are for wool felt material that is not pre-shrunk.
Materials Needed:
- Yardage based on 36" wide wool felt
- Wool felt #1 - 3/4 yd for tote front, back, and handle linings
- Wool felt #2 - 12" x 17" for diamonds
- Wool felt #3 - 3/8 yd for contrast diamonds and flounces
- Yardage based on 44" wide fabric
- Fabric #1 - 5/8 yd for lining
- Fabric #2 - 1 fat quarter for self lined pockets
- 55" wide faux leather - 1/4 yd for tote bottom and handles
- 44" wide firm iron-on interfacing - 3/4 yd for handles
- 20" wide Timtex - 1 yd for tote front and back
- 2 packages of Wrights Baby Rick Rack (1/4" wide)
