This is a roomy shoulder bag with a magnetic or button closure with 2 interior pockets and with instructions for 2 different sizes.  Finished size is 22"w x 16" h x 12" d and 19" w x 13" h x 9" d (without handles).

Materials Needed:

Large Cotton Bella Bag:

• Six quilters fat quarters of coordinating fabrics for bag exterior, handles, and interior pockets. (one directional fabric is not suitable)
• 1 1/4 yd of 45" wide cotton fabric for lining
• 1 1/4 yd non-fusible heavy weight interfacing
• 24" x 38" piece of cotton quilt batting
• 1/3 yd Timtex or plastic canvas for bag bottom
• 40" length of 3/4" diameter upholstery cording for handles
• Optional: Two decorative stacked buttons  and 1 yd of narrow elastic cording for gathering the bottom of the bag

Small Wool Bella Bag:

• 5/8 yd of 60" wide wool for exterior and handles
• 1/2 yd of 45" wide cotton fabric for lining and interior pockets
• 1/2 yd of non-fusible medium weight interfacing
• 16" x 32" piece of cotton quilt batting
• 1/4 yd of Timtex or plastic canvas for bag bottom
• 40" length of 3/4" diameter upholstery cording for handles
• An assortment of decorative yards and pieces of wool roving for needle felting embellishment
• Multi-needle felting tool
• Felting needle mat
