The Bellagio Bag
This bag features an exterior cell phone pocket, and interior zippered pocket, as well as a large and roomy exterior pocket. There are 2 different flap shape options plus a no flap option! All views have a top zipper closure for extra security. The finished size is a generous (and practical!) 8" x 10" x 3 1/2".

Fabric Selection
Use a fabric with some stiffness and body for the purse sides, exterior front and zipper panels. Fabrics such as lightweight denim, trigger and even upholstery fabrics do quite nicely.
The exterior purse back, pocket and flap can be virtually any type of fabric and any COMBINATION of fabrics. You can try coordinating these with the purse sides, or try a complete CONTRAST for some SIZZLE!
Sewing Supplies and Notions
Fabric needs:
Exterior fabric, (with stiffness), 1/2 yd.
Exterior Contrasting Fabric, 1/3 yd.
Lining, (lightweight cotton), 1.2 yd.
Thermofleece, 1/2 yd.
Fusible Interfacing, 1/4 yd.
Notions:
1- 7" nylon zipper
1- 9" nylon zipper
4 1/2 yd.- Double Fold Bias Tape
38"- 1" wide Cotton Webbing
2- 8" plastic Cable ties(available in hardware stores)
