Carry your water bottle in style with this cute pattern for a fish beverage tote! Instructions are in color with easy to follow directions and it fits a full 24 ounce water bottle. (Pattern can be reduced for a 16 ounce bottle).
Materials Needed:
- 1 Fat Quarter for fish body, drawstrings, and straps
- 11" x 10 1/2" scrap for fish body lining
- 11" x 10 1/2" Insul-Brite from the Warm Company (I got mine at Jo-Ann Fabrics)
- 10 1/2" x 3 1/2" scrap of fabric for fish lips
- 13" x 11" piece of medium weight fusible interfacing
- One small fabric scrap each of black and white for eyes or two 3/4" buttons
- Sulky iron-on transfer pen
- Embellishment materials for fins:
- Option 1: Applique
- 15" x 11" scrap of contrasting fabric for fins and tail
- Sulky Solvy or Paper Solvy
- Applique pressing sheet
- Steam-A-Seam 2
- Option 2: Free Motion Design
- 8 1/2" x 11" Sulky Paper Solvy
- 11" x 14" Sulky Super Solvy
- Applique Pressing Sheet
- Sulky KK2000 Temporary Spray Adhesive
- Sulky Holoshimmer thread
- Contrasting Sulky 30 or 40 weight Rayon
