This pattern makes a convertible bag - you don't have to change your handbag, just pull out the velcro drawstring liner and put it into another bag.  This pattern comes in 2 sizes when finished: 
Handbag: 13" wide, 8" tall & 4" deep
Small Tote: 16"wide, 9"tall & 5" deep.

Materials Needed:

• MAIN FABRIC: Outside, inside, and exterior pocket HANDBAG-3/4 yd SMALL TOTE 1 yd
• CONTRAST: Binding, handles, and exterior pocket trim HANDBAG - 1/2 yd SMALL TOTE - 1/2 yd
• COORDINATE: Removable Drawstring Liner HANDBAG - 1 yd SMALL TOTE - 1 1/2 yd
• Fusible Interfacing 20: wide: HANDBAG - 2 1/4 yd SMALL TOTE - 2 3/4 yds
• Fusible Peltex 71, 22" wide: HANDBAG - 1/2 yd SMALL TOTE - 3/4 yd
• Velcro, 3/4" wide: 1 yd for both handbag and small tote
• 1 1/2" circular, rectangular, or D-Rings: 4 for both handbag and small tote
