The Chelsea Tote bag pattern is a combination tote/sling bag or backpack that is loaded with lots of pockets and uses a "no fear" zipper technique. Finished size is 14" tall with an 8" square bottom.
Materials Needed:
- Bag Cover Fabric: 2/3 yd or 1 yd for directional print fabrics
- Lining & Outside Pocket: Flap: 2/3 yd or 1 yd for directional print
- Inside Pocket, Outside Pocket, Loop Closure: 1/2 yd
- Shoulder Strap: 1/3 yd
- Low loft batting: 1 piece 21" x 36"
- 22" all purpose zipper (you can also use an 18" or a 20" zipper)
- Optional: Bag-E-Bottom from Lazy Girl Designs or a 7" x 7" piece of plastic canvas.
