The Cool Breeze Purse Pattern has instructions for a traditionally pieced and quilted purse with purchased handles. This pattern has a very stylish design and measures 11" x 9" x 12" when completed.
Materials Needed:
- 19 - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" squares of assorted blue small print cotton (1/4 yd)
- 38 - 2" x 2" squares of assorted light small print cotton fabrics (1/2 yd)
- 1/2 yd of blue floral print cotton fabric for back of purse and front vertical strips
- Two 16 1/2" x 16 1/2" pieces of low loft cotton batting
- Two 18 1/2" x 18 1/2" pieces of dark blue small print cottom fabric for lining
- One Fat Quarter or an 18" x 20" piece of coordinating dark blue print cottom fabric for the binding and handle attachments
- One pair of U shaped purse handles, approximately 6 1/4" wide x 5" to 6" high
