Strip pieced Geshia Girl purse pattern has coordinating binding and a cool knotted handle.  Finished size is 10" x 9".

Materials Needed:

• 9 1/8 yd coordinating fabrics for strip-piecing and lining
• Optional: 3/8 yd coordinating fabric for lining (if you choose not to strip-piece your lining)
• 1 fat quarter for petal base (fat quarters measure 18" x 22")
• 3/8 yd coordinating fabric for outer bag
• 1 fat quarter for pocket
• 1/2 yd fabric for binding, handle covering and tabs
• 2 yards 1/2" or #5 cotton cording for inside of handle
• 1 - 18" or longer zipper
• 1/2 yd heavyweight fusible fleece (recommended brand is HTC)
• 1/2 yd fusible knit interfacing, 60" wide (recommended brand is Fusi Knit)
• 1 decorative tassel for zipper pull
