The Grids & Grommets Bag pattern by Indygo Junction is a versatile pattern that comes in 2 sizes that uses grommets as closures and has a comfortable shoulder strap.  You can use regular fabric or Jelly Rolls.  Small bag measures 10" x 12" x 4" and the large bag is 14" x 13" x 7".

Materials Needed:

• LARGE QUILTED: 1 yd of 45" wide fabric for purse body and shoulder strap
• 1 yd for purse lining, interior pockets, and purse base cover
• 1 1/2 yds 45" wide fusible fleece for interfacing
• 1/2 yd Timtex or piece of cardboard for purse base
• One 19" x 45" piece of 2" fusible quilting grid (QuiltSmart Fusible Grid)
• Eight drapery grommets, 1 5/8" inside diameter
• SMALL JELLY ROLL BAG: Nine 2 1/2" x 22" fabric strips for purse body
• 1/3 yd fabric for shoulder strap (or pieced jelly roll strips)
• 1.4 yd fabric for upper purse band and band lining
• 1 yd fabric for purse lining, interior pockets, and purse base cover
• 5/8 yd fusible fleece for interfacing
• 2 yards of 16/32" cotton filler cording
• 1/2 yd Timtex or piece of cardboard for purse base
• Eight drapery grommets, 1" inside diameter
