- MEDIUM - Purse front & back - 3/8 yd for 1 Fat Quarter (FQ)
- Gusset - 1/8 yd or 1 FQ
- Inside pocket(s) - 3/8 yd for 2 pockets or 1 FQ for 1 pocket
- Tabs - 1/4 yd for 1 FQ
- Purse lining and gusset - 1/2 yd
- Heavyweight canvas or fabric (to stabilize) - 1/2 yd
- SMALL - Purse front, back, & gusset - 1 FQ
- Inside pocket(s) - 1/4 yd for 2 pockets or 1 FQ for 1 pocket
- Tabs - 1/4 yd or 1 FQ
