    We are now starting to work on our own line of purse patterns! The patterns will be geared towards the beginner sewer and, as usual, I will be available for any questions.

    We are excited to announce that we will be carrying the new Amy Butler Handbags that go on sale for the first time in September, 2007!

    The new book by author Lisa Shepard Stewart called "African Accents On The Go" is here! This book has numerous handbag patterns with a unique and creative flair with the beginner sewer as well as the seasoned expert in mind.

    Starting on October 17th through Nov. 4th, we will be participating in a contest at Craftbits.com. There will be 2 winners and prizes will be 2 purse patterns for each winner! This is a great site for information about crafts and lots of free goodies and membership is FREE so check it out today!

    On September 10, 2006, Henrietta's Handbags donated a victorian purse for the Scranton Chapter of the Girl Scouts. The theme was "Scouting is my bag" and funds were raised through a silent auction to benefit this worthy cause. We were very happy to be able to contribute and help make this event a success!

    We are very proud to have received an award for our website from Faithful Friends Online, a family friendly community of work at home Mom's AND a great resource for crafts and tons of useful information!

  • The 9th annual American Sewing Guild style show was held September 10, 2005 in Evansville. This worthwhile nonprofit organization has made ties for Troops, lap robes for nursing homes, and stockings for Hospice. We were privilaged to donate our handbag pattern for this important event and wish to congratulate the Evansville Chapter on their award for "2005 Chapter of the Year".
