The Kwik purse and scarf pattern has directions for pieced and un-pieced purses.  The pattern has instructions for a scarf (9" x 54") and purses in 2 sizes measuring 9 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 4" and 7 1/2" x 8" x 3".

To make the blocks for the pieced scarf and purses, you need 12 inch squares of twelve different fabrics.  6 blocks are needed for the scarf and 6 for the purses.  Additional fabric requirement for th pieced and unpieced purses are listed below:

Materials Needed:

• PIECED LARGE PURSE - 1/3 yd lining
• 1 fat quarter for handles and inside pocket
• 1 yd heavy, fusible interfacing 44" wide
• 1 yd of embellishment
• PIECED SMALL PURSE-1/3 yd lining and handles
• 1/2 yd heavy, fusible interfacing 44" wide
• 2/3 yd of embellishment
• UN-PIECED LARGE PURSE - 1/3 yd outside
• 1/2 yd lining handles and inside pocket
• 1 yd heavy, fusible interfacing 44" wide
• 1 yd of embellishment
• UN-PIECED SMALL PURSE - 1 fat quarter outside
• 1/3 yd lining and handles
• 1/2 yd heavy fusible interfacing 44" wide
• 2/3 yd of embellishment
• SCARF - 2/3 yd for the back and 20" of beads, fringe, etc. to embellish the ends of the scarf.
