The Laraine bag pattern is based on a sophisticated shoulder bag showing influences from the 20's and 40's.  The pattern features a flared body with wide gussets, an angularly pointed flap, and three decorative and vintage style buttons.

Materials Needed:

• 1/2 yd of 60" fabric for main bag
• 3/4 yd of 45" fabric for lining
• 14" of 60" canvas/duck cloth
• 14" of 45" thin polyester batting
• 8" of 45" fusible interfacing (decorator or heavy weight)
• 3/4" magnetic snap set
• One piece plastic canvas for base (approx. 3 1/2" x 13 3/4")
• Three large decorative buttons (approx. 1 1/2")
