This is an easy to make tote bag pattern that makes up quickly! You start with a rectangle of fabric and then there is only the side seam and a bottom seam. Directions for both inside and outside pockets are included. Finished size is SMALL TOTE - 16" wide x 14" high and LARGE TOTE - 20" wide x 14" high
Materials Needed:
- VIEW A (Same fabric for outside and inside bag)
- FABRIC 1 yd
- Interfacing - 1 yd
- VIEW B (2 different fabrics - outside fabric and inside lining)
- Main Fabric - 5/8 yd
- Lining Fabric - 1/2 yd
- Interfacing - 1 1/8 yd
- OPTIONAL POCKETS:
- Outside pockets - Main fabric 1/3 yd
- Lining fabric - 1/2 yd
- Interfacing 1/3 yd
- Inside pockets - Lining Fabric - 1/2 yd
- Interfacing - 1/4 yd
- Belting/Webbing - Small tote - 2 1/4 yd
- Large tote - 2 1/2 yd
- Optional beaded trim or fringe - Small tote - 1 yd
- Large tote - 1 1/4 yd
