The Mimosa Tote Bag pattern is a fun carry-all tote that uses wool and upholstery pieces.  Finished size is 14" x 14".

Materials Needed:

• 8 1/2" piece orange wool for background of applique
• 8" piece of spring green wool for stems
• Indigo blue, mustard, red, lime green, and leaf green scraps of wool for the applique
• 9" x 5" fun floral for base of tree and two 2 1/2" squares for piecing around the tree block
• 18 assorted 2 1/2" squares for piecing around the tree block - Choose a combination of upholstery, wool and cotton fabrics in strips, dots, and solids.
• 1/8 yd blue striped fabric for the front
• Fat 1/4 wool or upholstery fabric for the back
• 1/2 yd fun fabric for lining and binding
• 32" x 16" piece thin cotton batting for lining
• #11 Straw needles
• #24 Chenille needles
• 12" lime green leather straps
