This sewing pattern includes intructions, pattern pieces, and measurements to create your own KID's OVERNIGHT DITTY BAG & MR. BEDBUG DOLL. The Ditty Bag has a drawstring top, handle and exterior pockets. Mr. Bedbug doll has pockets on his back for carrying toothbrush, toothpaste, or overnight accessories! Personalize it with your onw vintage or vintage inspired fabrics!

Materials List
FOR MR. BEDBUG'S DITTY BAG
- 1 yard of a stripe of Mid weight to Heavy weight cotton that will hold the shape of the Bag. Home Decor Fabrics are great for this project too.
- 1 yard of a medium patterned Mid weight cotton
- 1 yard of a heavy weight canvas for the lining to give it shape
- 1/2 yard of mid weight fabric for pocket lining.
- 1/8 yard of large floral print for the Handle
OPTION:
*Depending on your selection you may want to use a heavy weight fusible interfacing on some of your bag parts, ie. The Bottom Panel and the Main Panel, to add more shape to your project. You would need approx. 1 yard.
Project finished size: 17 1/2" wide x 13" tall with a 21 1/2" Strap.
FOR MR. BEDBUG
- 1/4 yard of small gingham check for the bug's body.
- 1/4 yard of the medium patterned mid weight fabric for back pockets and spots
- 1 1/4 yard of coordinating cording for the arms and legs
- 2 coordinating felt squares
- 1/8 yard of light to mid weight vinyl for Bug's pocket embroidery floss for Bug's face blue for the eyes, green or brown for the nose, and pink or red for the mouth.
- Polyfill 1 small bag
Caution! Mr. Bedbug has small parts and so it's not recommended for children under the age of 3!
