My Coloring Purse is the pattern for moms/grandmas to sew up quickly for their daughters/granddaughters to carry their markers and coloring supplies in style. This little purse sports slots for fat crayons and markers on the outside, a roomy inside for books and paper, and a back pocket and button closure. It can be made with a short handle or a long one to go over the shoulder.
Materials Needed:
- 1/2 yd of 2 coordinating fabrics for front, back, crayon holder, back pocket and handles of purse
- Fat Quarter for bias binding trim
- 1/2 yd of flat cotton batting
- 3 matching buttons
- 8 large crayons or markers
- Coloring books, paper, and pencils
