The Penelope purse pattern has lots of pockets, a front tie closure, and a comfortable shoulder strap.  Inside is a cell phone pocket, an MP3 player pocket, and 4 additional pockets to keep everything organized!  Finished size is 9" tall x 11" wide x 3" deep.  Yardage is based on 40" wide fabric.

Materials Needed:

• 3/4 yd for outer purse and pocket fabric
• 2/3 yd for purse flap & strap fabric
• 1/3 yd lining fabric
• 1/3 yd inside pocket fabric (This can be the same as your lining fabric)
• Crib size or 2/3 yd of 90" wide batting or 1 1/2 yd flannel fabric (use a thin cotton batting)
