The Madelaine Bag pattern has a front flap, a flat bottom, and pockets inside.  Finished size is 15 1/2" x 8".

Materials Needed:

• 1 yd red small print fabric for squares, lining, pockets & gussets for the inside and outside of the bag
• 3/4 yd of large red roses fabric for squares, front, back, and tab closure
• 1 magnetic snap
• 1 yd light weight sew-in interfacing for bag body and lining
• 1 strip of plastic insert 2" x 14" for bottom of bag
• 1 strip black fabric 2 1/2" x 26" and light weight sew-in interfacing for the handle 1/2"
   x 26"
