Looking for purse patterns with personality?  The Purse-Nickities pattern has 3 different patterns named the Nickie, Nickita, and the Nickole, all with clear instructions on how to insert a zipper!  These bags can be made from fat quarters, pre-quilted fabric, or scraps.

Finished sizes are: Nickie - 6" x 12"
                                Nickita - 3" x 4" x 9"
                                 Nickole - 7" x 12"

Materials Needed:

• 2 fat quarters - one for the cover and handle and one for the lining (create aa scrappy cover from lots of scraps or strips.  For pre-quilted fabric - 1 fat quarter for the bag, and a 4" x 18" piece of non-quilted fabric for the handle and skip the batting)
• 16" x 16" square of low loft batting
• 12" all purpose zipper in a color to match your fabrics
• Optional: Six inches of up to 3/8" wide ribbon(grosgrain is good) to decorate the zipper pull if you like.
