Purse-O-Nality Plus Handbag Pattern

The Purse-O-Nality Plus handbag pattern is a midsize handbag with a large pocket on the front to showcase that special fabric or your own needlework. Finished size is 11" x 12" x 3".

Materials Needed:

1 yd Fabric A for exterior body, handles, closure flap, and exterior of accessories (cosmetic bag, eyeglass case, and key fob)
1/3 yd Fabric B for large front pocket (or 11" x 11" motif)
1/3 yd Fabric C for back exterior pockets, inside pockets, front and back "hidden" pockets, and underside of clusre flap (NOTE: If accessories are to be lined with Fabric C rather than lining , Fabric D, increase yardage from 1/3 yd to 1/2 yd.
1 yd Fabric D for interior purse lining and ling of all pockets
1/4 yd Fabric E for bias trim
Quilt batting for exterior body, large front and back pockets, handles, closure flap, and accessories
Heavywieght or craft interfacing for exterior body, closure flap, and accessories (optional)
6" strip of 3/4" wide Velcro (if preferred, use precut circles)
1 large decorative button for purse fron
1 medium decorative for cosmetic bag
1 acrylic bottom piece (11" x 2 3/4")
Optional - 1" bias tape maker
