The Quilted Carryalls is a great organizational tote bag with directions for making your double layer quilted fabric.  This pattern has 8 pockets with pockets inside and out and a secure zippered top.  2 sizes are available for you to make: SMALL (13" x 15" x 6 1/2") and LARGE (15" x 18" x 6 1/2").

Materials Needed:  Numbers given in parentheses are for the large tote size.  If only 1 number is given, then this is an adequate amount for both small and large.

• 1 3/8 yd ( 1 1/2 yd) Fabric #1" double-faced quilted fabric for tote and pockets OR
• 2 yds each of Fabrics A & B to quilt it yourself.  Choose 2 prints or a print and a solid;  you also need a 44" x 64" (44" x 69") piece of thin batting.
• 1/4 yd quilted double-faced fabric for the eyeglasses case OR two 9" squares each of 2 fabrics and two 9" squares of thin batting
•  1 1/8 yd (1 1/4 yd) coordinating print for inner pockets and binding
• NOTIONS FOR EIGHT POCKET ZIP TOP TOTE:
• 16" or 18" long (20" or 22") separating sport zipper
• 2 1/2 (2 3/4) yds 1" wide webbing for straps and upper edge trim
• Optional: 1/2 yd narrow ribbon for optional coin purse and 7" long coil type zipper for optional coin purse

• 44" or 54" wide fabric
• 5/8 yd Fabric #1: double-faced, quilted fabric OR
  5/8 yd of each of two fabrics plus a 24" x 44" piece of thin batting to quilt it yourself
• 1 yd Fabric #2: Contrasting print for the outer and inner pocket and the upper edge finish: if you are quilting your own double faced fabric, this fabric can match one of the two you are using or be different - your choice.
• 5/8 yd Fabric #3: Contrasting print for tote bottom, straps & binding
• NOTIONS FOR SHOPPERS TOTE:
• 1 1/2 yd 1" wide belt stiffener or waistband interfacing or substitute 1" wide elastic
• 7" nylon or polyester coil zipper for the inside pocket
• 1 3/4 yd 1/4" wide strips of fusible web
