The Scottsdale Satchel bag pattern by Purse Strings is a roomy bag with diamond quilting and eye-catching piping. There are grommets and a shirred fabric slide on the center front and back of the handles along with inner pockets. Finished size is 11" h x 19" w
Materials Needed:
- 3/4 yd fabric for outer bag front, back, and band
- 1/4 yd fabric for handles
- 1 1/8yd lining for front, back, band, and interior pockets (contrasting color)
- 1 yd heavy wieght fusible fleece, outerbag, band, and handles
- 3/4 yd 60" wide fusible knit interfacing
- 16 - 7/16" grommets (you need a grommet kit to attach the grommets)
- 4 yds pre-packaged covered piping (or make your own 1/2 yd contrasting fabric and 4 yds of 1/8" (5/32) cotton cording - instructions included)
- Sulky 12-weight decorative thread for topstitching (contrasting color)
- 1/4 yd 1/2" wide elastic
