Simply Purse-O-Nal Tote Pattern

A tote bag pattern by Purse-O-Nalities of Palm Harbor that is easy to make with lots of options like a pocket on the front or a triple pocket and closure flap. Instructions are included for lots of pocket options to suit your individual needs. Finished size is 15" h x 16" w x 3 1/2" d.

Materials Needed:

OPTION A: Single fabric for the entire tote - Without pockets: 1 1/2 yd With pockets (inside and out): 2 1/2 yd
OPTION B: Using a different fabric for each portion of the tote - 1/4 yd needed for each of the following individual units: Handles, Exterior sides of tote, interior side of tote, exterior 10" center pocket, exterior 10" triple pocket, interior pocket tube, interior zipper pocket lining
1/2 yd needed for each of the following individual units: Exterior tote bottom, interior bottom
Misc. Materials Needed: Heavyweight interfacing (44" wide) 1 yd
Fleece/batting (44" wide) -(without pockets) - 1 yd With pockets - 1 1/3 yd
Optional 7" zipper (if adding interior zipper pocket)
Optional 3" Velcro (if adding closure flap)
