The Blanche Bag pattern uses collages of fabrics, including a man's tie for the closure!  This bag is the right size to hold everything you need for the day and has 2 interior pockets.  Finished size is 13" x 17".

Materials Needed:

• COTTON VERSION: 1/4 yd of 9 different fabrics for 5" quilt squares
• 3/4 yd for lining and interior pockets
• 1/3 yd for strap
• 1 yd of fleece for interlining
• Two D rings
• One large button
• Three 7/8" buttons for strap adjustment
• DECORATOR FABRIC VERSION:  Scraps of decorator fabric to make 40 - 5" squares and button flap backing
• 3/4 yd fabric for lining
• 1 yd of fleece for interlining
• One necktie with one end about 4" wide
• 1 1/2" wide purchased belt with buckle for strap
• Leather punch
• 1 large button
• 8 large 1/4" eyelets
• 28" of leather lacing
