The Bongo Bag pattern is a combination drawstring bag/backpack with strip piecing!  This pattern is for the confident beginner to the advanced sewer and is perfect for yoga class, picnics, etc.  Finished size is 8" wide x 20" high x 8" deep.

Materials Needed:

• 1 5/8 yd of background fabric for blocks, bottom, & lining
• 1/8 yd each of 4 different contrasting fabrics (for block piecing)
• 1/8 yd of contrasting fabric for bottom edge strips
• Scrap, at least 1" x 15" (used for center of blocks)
• 10 1/4" eyelets (for drawstring)
• 3 yds drawstring 1/4" diameter
• 1 yd of Timtex (13" wide)
• Spray basting product
