The City Bag pattern makes a great briefcase or purse with pockets inside and out, handles and shoulder strap, and an easy zipper technique for the top of the bag. Finished size is 11" x 17".
Materials Needed:
- Fabric: Bag cover and back pocket - 1 1/2 yd, front pocket and zipper casing - 1/2 yd, interior pockets and lining - 1 yd
- Batting: 36" x 45" piece of thin quilt batting
- 20" zipper
- 5 buttons for decoration 3/4" to 1" in size
- 2" of sew-on Velcro
- Optional: Bag-E-Bottom available from lazy Girl Designs or plastic canvas 3 1/2" x 12"
