This is a purse pattern with your own photo printed on a fabric panel for you to sew! The photo covers the entire front panel and is best for vertical pictures (more tall than wide). The purchase of this pattern includes the photo - just send in your treasured picture by e-mail or "snail mail" and it will be printed on fabric. The photo purse shown has purchased handles but instructions are included to make longer handles from webbing.
Full instructions are given for 2 handbag sizes (9" x 10 1/2" x 3 1/2", 10 1/2" x 12" x 3 1/2") and additional photo panels and/or wording for the side panels can be added at an additional charge.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
- Fabric 45" wide: Back panels, lining, welting, handles, and inside pocket - 1 yd (large bag) 3/4 yd (small bag)
- Side panels: 1/2 yd (large bag) 1/2 yd (small bag)
- Interfacing (22" wide): 1/2 yd (large bag) 1/2 yd (small bag)
- Notions: 5/8" webbing - 2 yds
- 4 - metal purse feet (optional)
- 1 - 14mm magnetic snap (optional)
- 1 large sheet plastic canvas
- 3/8" welting cord - 1 1/2 yd
