The Posie Bag Pattern is a pretty all occasion bag  that only has 1 pattern piece plus the handle and is a great way to use up scraps of fabric!  This pattern has the full size pattern piece for the bag body and the finished size is 7" x 8".

Materials Needed:

• Use a single fabric for the bag and handle and a contrasting single fabric for the lining OR
• Use up to 30 difference fabrics for the bag with a contrasting lining and handle fabric.
• 1 yd fabric for the bag and handle OR
• 30 6" squares of assorted fabrics (use the lining fabric for the handle in this case) OR
• 1/4 yd each of 6 diffeent fabrics (Do not use loosely woven fabric)
• 1 yd of fabric for the lining that contrasts with the bag fabric
• 1 yd of lightweight cotton batting.  If you are using heavier fabric, use cotton flannel instread
• Magnetic snap or a 2" piece of 1/2" Velcro for closure
• 1/8 yd of heavy fusible interfacing (Decorbond) for the handle
• 3/4 yd of blastic boning (for top edges of bag)
• Quilt basting spray or long pins to hold layers together for cutting
