The Tidal Tote Bag pattern by Poorhouse Quilt Designs has 2 inner and outer pockets and instructions for custom piping. There are also instructions for appliques for these quilted totes and they are pieced with 2 coordinating fabrics and trimmed and piped in contrasting fabric.  Finished measurements are 13" x 10" x 3" and the skill level is advanced beginner.

Materials Needed:

• 1/4 yd of main color A
• 1/4 yd of main color B
• 3/4 yd for trim, handles, and lining
• 1 fat eighth for contrasting piping (or purchase ready made piping)
• Small pieces of contrasting fabric for applique (Starfish will require 8" square for starfish body)
• 17" x 22" piece of fusible batting
• 1/4 yd of 22" wide Peltex or equivalent
• 1/4 yd medium weight fusible interfacing
• 2 yds of 1/8" diameter cord
• Optional - sew-in magnetic snap
