Materials List
For the Weekender Travel Bag
- 1 5/8 yards of 44 wide heavyweight Home Decorator cotton for the Exterior of bag (allow extra for matching or centering the print on your fabric)
- 2 1/4 yards of 44 wide coordinating heavyweight Home Decorator cotton for the Lining, Handles and bias cut cord cover
- 1 1/4 yards of 22 wide heavyweight sew-in interfacing
- 2 1/4 yards of 21 wide Timtex or a similar extra-heavy stabilizer
- 1 sheet of Dritz 12 wide x 18 Heavy Duty Template Plastic (found with the quilting supplies)
- 5 yards of 1/4 cotton cording (found in the home decorating department of most stores)
- 30 coordinating plastic or metal teeth heavyweight zipper (non separating)
- 1 spool of coordinating thread
